Services Internal pharmacy
It was opened last year, with the aim of providing a pharmacy service, and dispensing the necessary medicines to patients for free. This service contributed to supporting patients and helping their families and families, and alleviating the suffering that troubled and exhausted them. The Foundation provides the pharmacy with quantities of necessary treatments and medicines, which are provided and dispensed to patients. According to the instructions of the institution’s doctor, the specialized doctors and the patients’ supervisors, who are cared for by the institution in its housing in Sana’a.
Supporting dialysis centers
The Foundation provides possible support to dialysis centers in the capital Sana’a, and other centers in a number of governorates of the Republic.
The Foundation, in partnership with the Qutouf Organization and other donors, provided two dialysis devices, one of which was delivered to the dialysis center at the Republican Hospital in Sana’a, while the second device was delivered to the dialysis center at Al-Thawra Hospital in Sana’a, and the two devices contributed to alleviating the suffering of more than 1,500 patients. , from their operation.
Renal catheterization and arterial anastomosis
Kidney failure patients in Yemen undergo two dialysis sessions during the week, which is less than the global average of dialysis sessions, which are no less than four sessions per week. Since permanent renal catheters are not available, they avoid pain and health complications.
In order to alleviate this suffering, the Foundation, in cooperation with partners, is implementing projects to install permanent renal catheters, and perform arterial anastomosis operations, for patients who flocked from different governorates of the Republic.
Cash aid treatment
This project, which is implemented by the Foundation, in partnership with a number of donors, contributes to providing support to patients with kidney failure and cancer patients, whether patients sheltered by the Foundation in its housing, or other needy patients who frequent it throughout the year. Cash, to purchase medicines and radiological dyes, conduct radiological examinations and sessions, carry out dialysis sessions and chemical doses, and other therapeutic aids that benefit patients with kidney failure and cancer.
Urgent Humanitarian Response
The Foundation responded to the calls made, by a number of health centers in the Tihama region, and other areas, which suffer from a lack of treatments, while receiving tens of thousands of poor and needy patients, who come to it. In this regard, the Foundation provided a quantity of Treatments and medicines for Al-Abadia Health Unit in Al-Hodeidah Governorate, and other treatments for the Public Health and Population Office in Al-Jarrahi Directorate in the governorate, and a number of health centers in the capital’s secretariat. The medicines provided contributed to supporting and assisting thousands of patients.
Health awareness and education
With the aim of promoting awareness related to health aspects, and educating patients and their companions about health, the Health Supervision Department of the Corporation coordinates and implements a number of health awareness lectures and sessions, which contribute to raising the level of health awareness among patients and their companions, health supervisors and workers, and also contribute to enhancing knowledge aspects. , related to the risks of patients with kidney failure and cancer, ways to prevent them, and how to follow effective treatment methods.
